4th of July Baseball

The 4th of July started with baseball.

James got bored of baseball within minutes and was more interested in looking at wildlife.

Table set by Elly and James

Elly and James insisted on getting a tablecloth, then kept adding decor to make it look nice.
Notice the hand-made labels.  At lower left is mine labeled "Dad."

These are the artificial flowers they made.

Highlights of Tampa

Here is the pool in our community at sunset.

Here is one of the playgrounds at Fort Desota Park where we went to a great beach.

We love having visitors.  This is Gerda from Red Oak.

The wildlife is very different.  We are now accustomed to lots of lizards and cranes, but this armadillo in a neighbor's yard was a surprise.

Traffic is bad during certain hours.  But on Thursday a coworker told me about a different route home with less congestion.

Our new home

Drive down this street:  Our place is near the end on the left.

The townhouse we are leasing is the one with the garage door open.

The Dining Room and Living Room are combined.

Elly and James love the decorating in their bathroom.

And here is a lizard on the palm tree by our front door.

Ashley and the kids arrived in Florida just in time for the rainy season, which begins in mid-June.

Tropical storm Debby was very slow moving, dumping a lot of rain on Florida.
