Saturday Fun

When Ashley and the children visited over spring break, the downtime park was a lot of fun.  Since they moved here, they tried to go back twice.  First, the water fountains were blocked off for preparation for the Republican National Convention.  We though today would be better but again the water fountains were blocked off.  This time for a concert!  Some fun was still had at the park.

Labor Day Weekend

For Labor Day weekend Ashley went to Las Vegas with family.  The kids and I had never spent so much quality time with nobody else around - from Thursday at 1:30 until Monday night!

The first night Elly was a big help making this supper.

Here was James dancing.

Elly was so happy to receive an early birthday present in the mail.

All kids enjoy a good playground.

James didn't want to get his good shirt dirty so he had to play without a top.

Grandma Marge sent money for treats.  The first treat was ice cream.

Reading one night required a blanket to be comfy.  It looked hot to me.

James and Quinn both love to read and were so cute squeezed into one chair.

Labor Day started with a trip to a new park.

When it's hot at the park, you need more ice cream.
